Wait and See

On the ashes of an eighteenth-century convent, a truly unique concept store was built. There was a time when, while the streets of Paris and London were already full of them, Milan counted very few concept stores: now, even if they remain a reality not as well established as in other European cities, concept stores are more easy to find around Milan. Wait and see is one of them. The name explains the philosophy of the shop: here you can, and indeed you must, take all the time necessary to calmly watch the clothes, books, puppets and objects placed neatly on the shelves. All of this while sipping a cup of tea or coffee.

The brilliant mind behind the opening of Wait and See belongs to Uberta Zambeletti, a lady with exceptional qualifications, among which a degree in Textile Design at the Chelsea School of Art and a subsequent Master in Fashion Knitwear at the Royal College of Art. After a life spent impersonating the roles of designer, interior designer, art director and fashion coordinator, Uberta decided to open this concept store and to spend the rest of her life researching bizarre objects to display in its windows. The products are both from Italy and from all over the world. Prices vary, starting from a euro up to 200, in order to satisfy, in addition to all tastes, all budgets!
