Anadima: the restaurant a stone’s throw from Porta Genova

“The violin and Anadima: these are my passions.” This is what Raffaella tells us. Together with her husband Stefano, she manages this lovely restaurant, only a few steps away from the Navigli. Anadima has two rooms, decorated in a completely different way: the first is characterized by the green tiled counter; in the second the predominant color is, instead, white. Both furnished in an eclectic and cheerful way, the two rooms have what it takes to put customers at ease.

When Stefano and Raffaella decided to open their restaurant, they wondered for a while about what type of cuisine to chose. In Milan, there is really everything for everyone, and it is not easy to create something original and able to impress. Well, with Anadima they definitely made it: the restaurant, in fact, proposes to its clients an Italian cuisine enriched by exotic contaminations. A couple of examples: burrata d’Andria with avocado and tomato jelly, shrimps with Szechuan berries and the great vegetarian dish garnished by five Asian spices. Recently moreover the couple added an online service, thanks to which you can order your lunch via email, by subscribing to Pappa Anadima: in this way you will not waste any time queuing to make an order, but, instead, once entered the room, you will be immediately served … a great option for those who have little time! We have not tried the Sunday brunch, but a customer has assured us that it’s worth it: “Croissants, donuts, cakes, bagels, eggs … having a brunch here means that you will fast for an entire week!”
