The Lady and the Tramp has taught us that dogs and their owners always look incredibly alike. We have validated this disneyan assumption when an old and elegant lady, with curly hair, approached us, intrigued by the camera and the notepad. We looked at her feet and we saw two poodles on a leash, even curlier and more elegant than her. When we told her what we were doing, she firmly declared: “Well, good luck! Here you won’t find anything but houses, shoe shops, jewelry stores and ice-cream parlors!”. The poodles barked as if to say “Oh, that’s so damn true”. And actually, at a first glance, the trio seemed to be right but, while getting lost in the secondary streets, we succeeded in finding some outstanding places. This area can be divided into two zones: the first one is near San Siro, the Hippodrome and Fiera MilanoCity and is characterized by this nerve centers that draw over crowds of spectators; the second one is in close proximity to the city center and to the metro stations of Wagner, Buonarroti and Gambara and stands out for its elegant residential zones (lots of AC Milan and Inter football player live here), its parks full of screaming kids, its restaurants and shops. Have a look at the places we have reviewed for you: some you’ll know for sure, while others will surprise you!
