“Mrs Lucia has retired now and comes here as a client!”. This is how Riccardo, one of the new owners, introduces to us the figure of the Tuscan cook who, in 1967, decided to move to Milan with her husband and to open a restaurant in Via Ravizza. “The restaurant has changed its name many times… From Trattoria Lucia it became, in the 90s, Playtime. Mrs. Lucia thought that the restaurant needed a more modern name back then and so opted for an English one. When we started working here, we decided to name it Casa Lucia, in order to make it sound more familiar.” And indeed, when entering the restaurant, you feel like at home: the venue is intimate, the waiters are super friendly and they cuddle the customers in every possible way. Try the spaghetti alla chitarra with courgette flowers, ricotta and cherry tomatoes… you won’t be disappointed!
