Teatro Nazionale: plays and musicals in Via Rota

If you are not a pub-lover or you simply want to sit comfortably in a chair and relax, laugh or cry in front of amazing actors, then the National Theatre is what you are looking for.

Built in the ‘20s by Mauro Rota, it still belongs to the Rota family and contains up to 1500 seats. The theatre has undergone several renovations and the last, in 2009, was accomplished by the Dutch multinational Stage Entertainment, which managed to bring Il Nazionale in vogue and to make it one of the most beautiful theaters in Milan and one of the most technologically advanced in Europe.
