If you belong to the category of people who can never make a decision, even if at gunpoint, then don’t get anywhere close to Carpe Diem. Don’t do it. We mean it. Otherwise, you’ll spend hours, days and even weeks lost among the shelves, hesitating whether to buy everything, nothing, or only a couple of things, but then which “couple of things” exactly?, and is this better than that?, but this is way cheaper, I know but look at this cutie here…! We tried to warn you, but we were no better. We entered the shop, gazed at the endless number of objects, picked up a dozen, put down five-six of them, went to the cashier and then, at the moment of paying, came back to get those five-six we initially discarded… what a nightmare! Thanks God, the owners are extremely patient…. after all, they have been here for over 20 years, and they are by now used to this kind of behavior.

It is quite difficult to state what Carpe Diem sells: from bike accessories to kitchen tools, from USBs to magazine racks, from watches to wallets, pool tables and ring bells…. probably, it’s fair to say that Carpe Diem sells a little bit of everything. Carmela, one of the owners, travels around our planet earth in search of particular products to arrange on the shelves. “The thing that all these products have in common,” she explains while fixing the sofa made of corrugated paper, also on sale, “is that they are all extremely original and are supposed to unleash surprise and hilarity!”. A customer approaches the cash register with a collector-shaped pillow: “This is amazing! I can keep it in the office and, as soon as my boss gets distracted, I can easily take a nap on it! It’s R-E-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N-A-R-Y!”… no doubt Carmela was right!
