Rocket: the club on the Navigli

There was a time when the Rocket was in the southern outskirts of Milan, when it was very small and everyone was complaining about how much wasted potential it had. Tired of these complaints, ten years after the opening, the owners decided to change position, and recently the Rocket opened to its customers in a new, bigger and more modern location.

Beware of the one-way streets that lead to the club, we got more than one fine, and be careful about the bike path next to the local, from which it is difficult to find the right way back without falling in the Navigli. Even though we are in one of the most prohibitive areas as far as parkings are concerned, the Rocket is one of the few places where it is super easy to park, as it has a large space reserved for the customers’ cars. A plus for this place that, over the years, has seen on its stage international artists like the Bloody Beetroots, Steve Aoki, MGMT, Crookers and many more.

The Rocket is a real institution in the Milanese nightlife. Now it has two rooms, with two different bars and dj sets, which vary depending on the evening. Every Tuesday there is the indie rocket party, an event loved by the most alternatives who hop around dancing at the rhythm of some indie-rock songs; Wednesday evenings, instead, are dedicated to hip-hop and R & B; Fridays and Saturdays, finally, are the perfect scenario for those who want to dance some pop-dance and electronic music. Well… there’s something for everyone!
