If an ex-bank is now home of The Gallerie d’Italia, another houses a historical club of Milan. The Banque spreads over two rooms and can accommodate up to two thousand people; the style of the furniture is worth of the court of Louis XIV, a cheeky baroque perfect in every detail, from the chandeliers to the curtains … you expect to see at any moment a bear’s head hanging from a wall!
The Banque is both a restaurant and a disco, but we recommend you to avoid it for a dinner and just go there to party because it gives the best of himself at night: from 23.30 till dawn DJs fill the rooms with commercial, dance and electronic music and herds of Milanese wave their arms to the beat of the last hit. In summer Le Banque closes and at its place, Le Jardin opens, a bit outside the center of Milan.
Please note: there is a strict dress code, so wear your best shirt and your brighter smile to impress the bouncers!
