“Selamat Datang”. With these words we are welcomed by the waiters of Mei Lin, the Asian restaurant a short walk from Castello Sforzesco. We look at them a bit surprised, they smile back at us and say: “It means welcome! Please, follow us. “We are led into a space lit by dim lights, where oriental prints, smiling buddahs and exotic music reign.
Mei Lin opened twenty years ago and specializes in fusion cuisine: here you can indeed taste typical Malaysian, Chinese, Thai and Indian food. Among their specialties there are the tim sam, dumplings chicken in pandanus leaf, duck with pancakes, shrimp sauce and a lot of exotic fruits and sweets, such as Agar-agar, a gelatin obtained from a seaweed.
If you are overwhelmed by work responsibilities, emails and meetings, and you cannot get up from your desk for even a second, do not worry and call +39 (0)272095045 to order your lunch takeaway… your colleagues will envy you!
