Another historical place, another story, and this time is William Sanna, the original owners’ son, the narrator. “My mum and dad, from Valtellina and Sardinia, met in Milan in the 70s, fell in love and in 1976 opened this bakery. When my brother and I took over the business, we kept their recipes and put the same efforts and love in the realization of each product.”
The bakery has some seats but the crowd thickens at the counter: people come and go quickly and the bread is baked at an impressive pace. When asked what the customers love the most, William answers “Squaletti, of course! But I will not tell you what they are or how they are prepared… come and try them yourself!”
